Dear Church Family, If you could do one thing every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Every day is a gift from the Lord. Many times, we take this for granted, but each day we wake up is a reminder that He has us here for a reason. The psalmist even asks Him, “O Lord, make me know my end and what is the measure of my days; let me know how fleeting I am!” (Psalm 39:4). It’s important for each of us to understand that we have a finite time here on earth. What will we do with our days? I love the psalmist’s answer in Psalm 104.
The psalmist understands that God deserves praise every day, so he commits to sing His praise as long as he lives. This is a good reminder to us; every day we wake up is another day to sing His praise. May there never be a day we forget or neglect to worship Him. I never want to live a day without giving Him praise. As long as I have breath, I want to bring Him glory. Every day we wake up is another day we’ve been given to do what we were created to do, worship the Lord. Every day, look for new reasons to praise Him, new ways to express your praise, and new people that need to hear about Him. I love the hymnist’s heart in, O Sacred Head, Now Wounded,
May we never outlive our love for Him. May we thank Him and praise Him as long as we live. –Pastor Dave —————————————————————————————————————————— What’s Happening at Gospel Life:Daylight Saving Ends: Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour this weekend.
